Time rounding (7-minute rule)

Time rounding adjusts clock times to a set interval; the 7-minute rule rounds to the nearest quarter hour.

With the 7-minute rule, minutes 1–7 round down and minutes 8–14 round up. The calculator offers 5, 15 (7-min rule), 30, or 60-minute rounding, or none.

Example: a clock-in at 9:06 rounds to 9:00; 9:10 rounds to 9:15.
