This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Time Card Calculator Pro. It should be read together with our Terms of Use, End User License Agreement where applicable, and Privacy Policy.
1. Summary
Time Card Calculator Pro is digital content and/or a digital service that is delivered immediately after a successful purchase. Because you receive access to Pro features immediately, all sales are final to the maximum extent permitted by law, unless a refund is required by applicable law or expressly approved under this Refund Policy.
This Refund Policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
2. Refunds depend on where you purchased
2.1 Apple App Store purchases
If you purchased through Apple App Store or Apple in-app purchase, refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund process and policies. We generally cannot refund Apple purchases directly. You should request a refund through Apple using the Apple account that made the purchase.
If Apple grants a refund, your Pro entitlement may be revoked.
2.2 Google Play purchases
If you purchased through Google Play Billing, refunds are handled through Google Play and/or the developer tools available to us under Google Play rules. You should first request a refund through Google Play using the Google account that made the purchase.
If Google or we grant a refund, your Pro entitlement may be revoked.
2.3 Web and Chrome purchases through Lemon Squeezy
If you purchased through the web or Chrome flow, Lemon Squeezy may act as the merchant of record and may process payments, invoices, taxes, refunds and chargebacks. Refund decisions are subject to this Refund Policy, mandatory law, Lemon Squeezy’s processes, and any discretion Lemon Squeezy reserves as merchant of record.
Refunds, if approved, are normally returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and bank.
3. EU/EEA/UK consumer withdrawal notice
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain distance contracts within 14 days. However, for digital content or digital services supplied immediately, you can lose that withdrawal right when:
you expressly request or consent to immediate supply during the withdrawal period;
you acknowledge that you will lose the right of withdrawal once performance begins; and
the required confirmation is provided to you on a durable medium, where required.
By completing a Pro purchase where the checkout asks for this consent and acknowledgement, and by receiving immediate access to Pro features, you agree that supply begins immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory right of withdrawal, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. We may keep technical records of this consent, acknowledgement and immediate delivery for compliance and dispute handling.
If the required consent/acknowledgement was not collected for your purchase, your mandatory withdrawal rights may remain available according to applicable law.
3.1 Online withdrawal function for web and Chrome purchases
Where a statutory withdrawal right exists for an EU/EEA consumer contract concluded through our own online interface, we will provide an online withdrawal function where required by law, labelled clearly, for example “withdraw from contract here”, during the withdrawal period. Until a dedicated function is available in the relevant online interface, you may contact us at info@timecardcalculator.app and we will process the request through an equivalent support flow. The flow may ask for your name, order ID or other contract details, purchase email and an email address for confirmation. If you submit a withdrawal statement through that flow, we will acknowledge receipt on a durable medium, normally by email.
Using the withdrawal function does not automatically mean that a refund is owed. We may reject a withdrawal or refund request where the withdrawal right was validly lost because you requested immediate digital delivery, acknowledged the loss of the right, and Pro access began, or where another legal exception applies. Platform purchases through Apple or Google are handled through their own refund and account processes.
4. When we may approve a refund
Subject to the platform rules and mandatory law, we may consider a refund if:
you were charged twice for the same entitlement and the duplicate purchase cannot reasonably be used or restored;
Pro access was not delivered due to a technical failure under our control and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time;
the purchase was unauthorized or fraudulent and verified as such;
the Product is materially defective and we cannot provide a legally required remedy;
a refund is required by applicable consumer law or by Apple, Google, Lemon Squeezy or another payment provider.
Refunds are discretionary unless required by law. Approval of one refund does not create an obligation to approve future refunds.
5. Non-refundable situations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, refunds are not provided for:
change of mind after Pro access is delivered;
not using the Product after purchase;
misunderstanding features that were described before purchase;
dissatisfaction with a calculation result where the Product operated according to your inputs/settings;
failure to verify payroll, tax, employment or legal rules independently;
loss of local data, browser storage, device data, backups or exported files;
losing access to the email or app store account used for purchase restoration;
device incompatibility, operating system changes or platform limitations outside our control;
regional price differences, exchange rates, taxes or later discounts;
Pro being free in another region or becoming free/discounted later;
requests made after a chargeback or payment dispute has been initiated, unless required by law.
6. How to request a refund
For Apple purchases, use Apple’s refund process. For Google Play purchases, use Google Play’s refund process. For Lemon Squeezy purchases, contact info@timecardcalculator.app with:
the email used for purchase;
order ID, transaction ID or receipt number;
purchase date;
platform used for purchase;
a clear explanation of the issue;
screenshots or error messages if relevant.
We may request additional information to verify the purchase, troubleshoot the issue, prevent fraud or comply with platform rules.
7. Effect of refund
If a refund is issued:
Pro access may be disabled or revoked;
the purchase may no longer be restorable;
you may continue to have local files or backups that you created, but you may lose access to Pro features required to create, edit or restore certain data;
taxes, currency conversion differences, bank fees or payment provider fees may not be returned unless required by law or handled by the payment provider.
Free regional Pro access, trial access, promotions, coupons, gifts and goodwill credits have no cash value and are not refundable.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting support, Pro access may be suspended while the dispute is investigated. Fraudulent, abusive or bad-faith disputes may result in termination of access and refusal of future purchases, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the Product or on our website with a new “Last updated” date. The policy in effect at the time of purchase generally applies, unless a later policy is more favorable to you or mandatory law requires otherwise.
