This Cookie Policy explains how PayForSay s. r. o. (“PayForSay”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags and similar technologies on the Time Card Calculator website and online calculator.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files placed on your browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, software tags, tracking pixels, web beacons and SDK-like browser scripts. These technologies can remember your preferences, keep the calculator working, secure the website, measure usage and, if you consent, help us measure advertising.

In this Cookie Policy, references to “cookies” include these similar technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

Time Card Calculator is designed as a local-first calculator. The online calculator may use browser storage to save your time entries, settings, report details, preferences, saved timesheets and similar calculator data locally in your browser so that the calculator works as expected. This local calculator storage is not used by us for advertising.

We use strictly necessary technologies without asking for optional consent where they are needed to provide the website, online calculator, security, checkout, purchase restoration or requested functionality.

We use non-essential analytics or marketing technologies, including Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, only where permitted by law and, where required, only after you give the relevant consent. Rejecting analytics or marketing cookies should not prevent you from using the basic calculator, although it may limit measurement, personalization or advertising attribution.

3. Categories of cookies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary technologies

These technologies are required to provide the website, remember your cookie choices, operate the calculator, preserve local calculator state, provide security, process checkout, prevent abuse, maintain sessions or deliver features you request. They may include first-party cookies, local storage, session storage, IndexedDB entries, security cookies, checkout cookies and consent-preference records.

You can block these technologies in your browser, but the website, online calculator, checkout, Pro access restoration, exports, saved timesheets or other requested features may not work correctly.

3.2 Preference and calculator storage

The online calculator may store local preferences and calculator data such as language, time format, week start day, rounding, break settings, country, currency, hourly rate, overtime settings, report details, uploaded logo references, saved timesheets and local draft calculator state.

This storage is used to provide the calculator experience requested by you. It remains in your browser until you clear it, reset the app, delete saved timesheets, clear site data, use private browsing, or your browser automatically removes it.

3.3 Analytics cookies

We may use Google Analytics and similar analytics tools to understand visits, page performance, conversions, errors, feature usage and general product improvement. Analytics may process online identifiers, browser/device data, approximate region, pages viewed, referrers, campaign parameters and events such as page view, button click, calculator opened, purchase started or purchase completed.

We do not intentionally send the contents of time entries, wage rates, names, notes, report text, uploaded logos, backup files or restore codes to analytics tools. Where required by law, analytics cookies are optional and are used only after analytics consent.

3.4 Marketing and advertising cookies / Meta Pixel

We may use Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) and related Meta business tools to measure advertising campaigns, understand whether ads lead to visits or purchases, limit repeated advertising and create or improve audiences for Meta advertising.

Meta Pixel may process online identifiers, cookie identifiers, IP address, browser/device data, page URL, referrer, campaign parameters and conversion events such as page view, lead, checkout started or purchase completed. We do not intentionally send wage rates, time entries, report notes, uploaded logos, backup files or other calculator contents to Meta.

Where required by law, Meta Pixel and other marketing technologies are used only after marketing consent. If you reject marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel will not be loaded for non-essential advertising purposes where technically under our control.

3.5 Checkout, payment and fraud-prevention technologies

When you start a web or Chrome purchase, Lemon Squeezy and payment-related providers may use cookies or similar technologies to run checkout, calculate taxes, process payment, prevent fraud, issue receipts, handle refunds and manage chargebacks. These technologies may be necessary to complete the purchase you request.

Payment providers operate their own websites, checkout pages, cookies and privacy notices. We receive only limited information needed to confirm payment, unlock Pro, restore access, provide support and comply with legal obligations.

The exact cookies and storage keys may vary depending on your browser, region, consent choices, website configuration, whether you use the online calculator, whether you start checkout and how Google, Meta, Lemon Squeezy or other providers configure their services. Our cookie banner or preference center may provide a more current technical list.

5. Google Analytics

Where enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the website and online calculator. It can use first-party cookies such as _ga and ga* to distinguish users and sessions and measure interactions.

For visitors in regions where cookie consent is required, we configure Google Analytics so that analytics storage is denied by default before consent and updated only after the user grants analytics consent. If Google Consent Mode is used, it should reflect the user’s consent choices for analytics and advertising-related settings.

6. Meta Pixel

Where enabled, Meta Pixel helps us measure and optimize Meta advertising. Meta Pixel is treated as a marketing technology, not as a strictly necessary calculator feature.

For visitors in regions where cookie consent is required, we block Meta Pixel before marketing consent. This includes preventing the browser pixel script and any non-essential fallback pixel from firing before consent. If we use Meta Pixel through Google Tag Manager or another tag manager, the tag must be tied to the marketing consent category.

We do not intentionally use Meta Pixel to send calculator contents, wage rates, time entries, names, report notes, uploaded logos, backup files, restore codes or payment card details. If we later use enhanced/advanced matching or send hashed identifiers to Meta, we will update our notices and consent flow where required before doing so.

7. Your choices

Where a cookie banner or preference center is available, you can:

accept all optional cookies;

reject non-essential cookies;

choose categories such as analytics and marketing separately;

change or withdraw your consent later through the “Cookie Settings” or similar link.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Browser controls may allow you to delete existing cookies, block future cookies, clear local storage, use private browsing or restrict third-party technologies. If you clear cookies or local storage, your calculator settings, saved local data and consent choices may be deleted.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. After withdrawal, we will stop using the affected optional cookies where technically possible, but you may also need to delete existing cookies through your browser.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, where we use advertising cookies or Meta Pixel, some privacy laws may treat the disclosure of online identifiers, page views or conversion events to advertising partners as “selling”, “sharing” or targeted advertising.

You can opt out of such advertising use by rejecting marketing cookies through our cookie banner or preference center, using a “Do Not Sell or Share” link if shown, enabling recognized browser privacy signals where legally required, or contacting us at info@timecardcalculator.app.
