California overtime

California overtime pays 1.5× after 8 hours in a day and 2× (double-time) after 12 hours.

It also applies on the 7th consecutive workday. Choose California Overtime Calculations to apply these built-in rules; the manual thresholds don’t apply in that mode.

Example: a 13-hour day pays 8 hours regular, 4 hours at 1.5×, and 1 hour at 2×.
