Unpaid break
An unpaid break is non-working time (often a meal break) that is subtracted from hours worked.
Short paid breaks usually stay in your total; longer meal breaks are typically unpaid. Enter the time in the Break field and turn on Deduct breaks to subtract it.
Example: an 8-hour span with a 30-minute unpaid lunch counts as 7.5 hours.
