Does the calculator handle overnight shifts?
This calculator totals hours within a single day, so it doesn’t directly span midnight. For a shift that crosses midnight, split it across the two days it covers: enter the hours before midnight on one day and the hours after midnight on the next.
For example, a 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM shift becomes 2 hours on the first day (10:00 PM–12:00 AM) and 6 hours on the next (12:00 AM–6:00 AM) — 8 hours total.
